Data we collect
- Enquiry forms: name, email, optional engagement interest, scope notes, and message content
- Email and phone: correspondence you initiate
- Engagement files: order extracts and related business records you supply (may include personal data if embedded in account contacts)
- Technical logs: IP address, browser type, and pages viewed when analytics cookies are accepted
We do not ask for payment card numbers through this website.
Purposes and lawful bases
- Responding to enquiries — legitimate interests / steps prior to contract
- Delivering contracted analytics work — performance of a contract
- Improving the website with aggregate visit statistics — consent where required for non-essential cookies
- Meeting legal accounting and tax duties — legal obligation
Retention
Enquiry messages are kept for up to 24 months after the last correspondence unless a contract follows. Engagement working files are retained for 36 months after project close unless you request earlier deletion or a longer archive is agreed. Accounting records follow statutory periods in Great Britain.
Sharing
We use hosting and email providers who process data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data. If a subcontractor (for example a freelance warehouse observer) needs limited access, they are bound by written confidentiality.
International transfers
Primary hosting and processing are intended within the United Kingdom / EEA. If a tool transfers data elsewhere, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK International Data Transfer Agreements or adequacy regulations.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability (where applicable), and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Children
This site is aimed at business users. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
