About BrookHub Workspace

Edinburgh-based analysts who sit with wholesale order books until the patterns are plain enough for a depot meeting.

Registered name and founding

BrookHub Workspace Ltd is the official registered business name. The practice was established in 2017 in Edinburgh after two former wholesale operations analysts left a national builders’ merchant group to work directly with mid-sized B2B traders.

Early work focused on fill-rate disputes between buying desks and depot managers. Those first engagements shaped our method: clean the extract first, draw only the charts that survive a packing-bench test, then hold a readout with the people who own the order book.

How we work

We treat wholesale order analytics as a craft of reconciliation and explanation. Clients send order lines; we return visual packs and briefing notes that can be printed, annotated, and argued over in a Monday meeting. We prefer fixed-scope engagements over open-ended retainers, though monthly scorecards are available when a review leaves unfinished questions.

People

A small core team handles intake, cleaning, charting, and readouts. We bring in a freelance warehouse observer only when a client wants aisle context alongside the numbers. Everyone who presents a readout has spent time inside a live wholesale operation.

Values

  • Prefer the chart a buyer will keep on the wall over a thick slide deck
  • Name the reservation when data quality limits a claim
  • Keep GB trade language — accounts, SKUs, fill rates, backorders — at the centre of every brief

Community

We share selected field notes through our journal and host occasional Edinburgh morning sessions for clients comparing depot reporting habits. Visitors are welcome at Office 9, 33 Demo Road, Edinburgh ZZ5 5AA by appointment.
